Hand Tools in Ghana
Ghana has one of the strongest artisan economies in the region. Suame Magazine in Kumasi alone supports thousands of mechanics and fabricators, and the tools that hold up under that kind of use are not the ones that win a price-only tender. That difference is worth being explicit about when you brief us.
Our buyers here are technical and vocational institutes fitting out workshops, distributors supplying the open market, public works departments equipping crews, and donor programmes assembling livelihood kits. A training institute wants durability under inexperienced hands. A distributor wants a price point. Both are legitimate; they are not the same tool.
Tool costing is tooling driven, so the price for a sample order is not the price at ten thousand units. Send the whole quantity schedule and we price against the full run. Marking is worth raising early too: applying a department name or programme logo in production costs far less than stickering thousands of units after they land at Tema.
