Reverse circulation is fast and cheap per metre and suits grade control where chips are enough. Diamond core is slower and dearer but returns intact rock, and where a resource statement depends on it there is no substitute. Contractors bidding both kinds of work usually need both, and the mistake is buying one rig and hoping it covers the other.

Mobilisation is the cost people underestimate. A rig that takes two days to move between concessions loses those days on every contract, so we will point out where a more transportable configuration pays for itself. We supply RC and core rigs, mud pumps and compressors, rods, bits and core barrels, with consumables priced at quotation rather than after it.
