Traffic safety equipment in Nigeria is almost entirely institutional: state road agencies, federal highway contracts, municipal works departments and airport authorities. It is bought in bulk, against specification, and inspected on arrival more rigorously than most categories.

The second consideration is heat and sunlight. Polymer cones and plastic barriers that hold their colour in a temperate climate will chalk and go brittle under Nigerian sun, so we specify UV-stabilised material and say so rather than leaving you to discover it in the second year.
