Agriculture Machinery in Nigeria

Farm machinery going into Nigeria is bought in two very different ways. State programmes and cooperative unions buy in lots against tender, with the spares schedule often weighted as heavily as the equipment price. Private estates and commercial growers buy one or two machines at a time and want them working next season, not next year.

We supply tractors and implements, harvesters and threshers, seed and fertiliser equipment, and post-harvest drying, cleaning and grading. Tillage is where the specification matters most: heavy soils in the middle belt need a different configuration from the sandy loams further north, and an implement chosen from a photograph rather than from the soil description is the one that comes back as a complaint.

Delivery timing is the other thing worth getting right. Agricultural orders are tied to a planting window, and a machine that lands after it has opened is worth much less than one that lands before. We state manufacturing lead time and shipping time separately, so you can see whether the season is realistic before you commit.
