Food Processing Machines in Nigeria

Nigeria grows a large tomato crop and still lands concentrate in drums. That gap is why most of the food processing enquiries we take for Lagos are for complete lines rather than single machines: washing and sorting, crushing, evaporation, aseptic filling, all sized against one throughput figure. The same pattern runs through cassava into garri and high quality flour, rice milling for the Kebbi and Ebonyi clusters, and palm oil pressing in the south east.

Two things decide whether the plant holds its rated output. The first is the drying stage, which has to be sized for Nigerian humidity rather than for a catalogue figure taken elsewhere. The second is power. Very few sites run on public supply alone, so we size motors and starters for the generator the plant will actually be on for much of the week, and we ask for your generator rating before the machine list is finalised.

Machinery imports need SONCAP, which means inspection and a Certificate of Conformity issued before the container sails. We prepare the technical file to match, and quote to Apapa, Tin Can Island or Onne depending on where the plant is going.
