Product overview

This pressure steam boiler conditions raw cashew nut ahead of cutting, using indirect pressurised steam heating rather than direct contact, so the nut is softened without taking on water. It is offered in four batch sizes: 80, 160, 320 and 640 kg.

Construction is heavy throughout. The steam generator is formed from 10 mm sheet, the cooker from 5 mm, and the chamber from 8 mm mild steel finished in heat resistive paint, sealed against leaks to hold temperature. Working pressure runs to 7 kg. The steamer section is 6 mm plate, rolled and double welded, and takes up to 80 kg of kernel.

Safety and handling are specified rather than added on: a built-in pressure gauge, safety valves, an ISI marked gate valve, release valves and a water drainage system. The top cover is thick mild steel plate with a silicone rubber gasket, heavy duty hinges and a locking arrangement, and an ash collecting tray sits beneath the boiler. Electric and non-electric models are available, with 6 kW industrial heaters in single or three phase. Fuel consumption is low for the duty.

Steamer: 6 mm thickness ms plate rolled,double welded for maximum capacity of 80 kg of cashew kernels.
Bottom legs: at bottom rigid legs are provided to hold the boiler
Top loading: top loading arrangement for raw cashew inside the boiler.
Holding plate: cashew holding perforated sheet is fixed at the bottom above water level
Easy unloading: tapered down flap type opening provided for Unloading boiled cashew nuts.
Safety measures: Boiler chambers are hydraulically tested for 20 psi

Crated for the sea leg and stacked to use the full container rather than half of it. The packing arrangement is written on the quotation, so you know the volume before you book freight.
Who deals with the shipping paperwork?

We do. Container loading, plus the packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin and any inspection certificate the destination insists on. Tell us which incoterms your side works on and the quotation is written against those.
And once it lands?

If it needs installing, we install it and train the people who will operate it. If it does not, we check what arrived against what was ordered.

Can this go into a public tender bid?
