Product overview

The small cashew steam boiler is the entry point into pressure steaming, built to the same specification as the larger vessels in the range but sized for an 80 kg kernel batch. For a processor handling a few hundred kilos of raw nut a day, it removes the main obstacle to a decent whole-kernel ratio without the capital of a plant-scale boiler.

Heating is indirect and pressurised, working to 7 kg. The chamber is 8 mm mild steel sheet finished in heat resistive paint and sealed against leaks so temperature is held rather than lost, and the steamer is 6 mm plate, rolled and double welded. Construction is single wall.

The safety fit is the same as the larger units: a pressure indicating gauge, safety valves, an ISI marked gate valve, release valves and water drainage. The top cover is thick mild steel with a silicone rubber gasket, heavy duty hinges and a lock, with an ash tray at the base and rigid legs supporting the vessel. Electric and non-electric models are available, with 6 kW heaters in single or three phase.

Steamer: 6 mm thickness ms plate rolled,double welded for maximum capacity of 80 kg of cashew kernels.
Bottom legs: at bottom rigid legs are provided to hold the boiler
Top loading: top loading arrangement for raw cashew inside the boiler.
Holding plate: cashew holding perforated sheet is fixed at the bottom above water level
Easy unloading: tapered down flap type opening provided for Unloading boiled cashew nuts.
Safety measures: Boiler chambers are hydraulically tested for 20 psi
Time: Single batch duration is about 60 to 70 minute

Crated for the sea leg and stacked to use the full container rather than half of it. The packing arrangement is written on the quotation, so you know the volume before you book freight.
Who deals with the shipping paperwork?

We do. Container loading, plus the packing list, commercial invoice, certificate of origin and any inspection certificate the destination insists on. Tell us which incoterms your side works on and the quotation is written against those.
And once it lands?

If it needs installing, we install it and train the people who will operate it. If it does not, we check what arrived against what was ordered.
Either way you keep talking to whoever handled your order rather than being handed to a general enquiries address.
Can this go into a public tender bid?

Yes - a large share of what we ship is ministry, council and donor procurement. You get the technical specification and compliance documents laid out the way the tender asks for them, plus the manufacturer authorisation letter that most public bids require from the supplier behind the bidder.
